Joanne C. Tillman, MPH, MCHES is the Family Engagement Coordinator for CMQCC and CPQCC. In this role, Joanne supports the missions of both programs by working with families, communities, and healthcare stakeholders to improve the quality and equity of healthcare delivery for California’s infants and mothers. This role combines Joanne’s passion for improving maternal and infant outcomes and decreasing racial disparities in health care.

Joanne has dedicated many years of experience and research in reproductive health, women’s health, and maternal mortality prevention. She has a passion for empowering the underserved, tackling the social determinants of health, and contributing to improving their overall health. Joanne Tillman lives with her loving husband and two children in Los Angeles, CA. She also dedicates her service in this work to her angel baby, hoping that with improvements made, fewer babies will be lost.
