On November 12, 2020, we lost our colleague and friend, D. Lisa Bollman, MSN, RNC-NIC, CPHQ. Lisa was a leader in perinatal health who made an indelible impact on our organizations and on the lives of countless patients, families, and clinicians throughout the state of California and beyond. - has made significant contributions to NICU transport quality improvement within their unit and beyond or

Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford Neonatal Critical Transport Team (NEOCCT)
.
The Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford Neonatal Critical Tranport Team has been providing active cooling on transport for neonates with hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy for nearly two decades. In 2024, the TTTT for infants who were cooled on transport was 4.84 hours compared with 5.25 hours in 2023. For both years, there were no infants with admission core temperatures <33 degrees, which is an important balancing measure to ensure that infants are not being exposed to unnecessary hypothermia.
