Dr. Padilla is a board certified neonatologist who practiced for over 25 years at Miller Children’s Hospital in Long Beach, where she was very involved in quality improvement, medical education, leadership, and administration. During her tenure at MCH, she served on and chaired numerous committees, including : chair of the NICU Quality Improvement Committee for over 15 years, Chief of the Medical staff and was a member of the hospital’s Board of Directors for 9 years. She is currently a Volunteer Neonatal Faculty member at Harbor UCLA. She has been a member of PQIP since its inception, as well as, a member of the Infrastructure Subcommittee of the PQIP. Outside of medicine, she is involved in several local charities as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Ronald Mc Donald House Long Beach and the Board of Directors for The Guidance Center (a pediatric mental health resource in Long Beach).
