For our 6 Month Post Palooza Check-In, we challenge you to move through a set of self-directed activities designed to re-engage you and your team on your journey to creating an antiracist NICU. As part of these activities, we are pleased to share with you an article on the impact of racism on neonatal health from our colleagues at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Columbia University Medical Center, which outlines a path towards solutions.

We challenge you to continue the learning that we began at Improvement Palooza 2021 and complete the following activities by December 31st, 2021.

----

STEP 1: WATCH

Watch the recap of CPQCC’s "Turning Knowledge into Action: A 3 Month Post Palooza Check-In" webinar to see how CPQCC NICUs turned what they learned at Improvement Palooza into actionable solutions in their unit.

STEP 2: READ

Read the article “Using rising tides to lift all boats: Equity-focused quality improvement as a tool to reduce neonatal health disparities.”

STEP 3: REFLECT

Reflect on what you've learned using our anonymous self-guided reflection. This reflection is anonymous. You can choose to submit it anonymously or print/save it to your computer for your own personal reflection and commitment to next steps on antiracism.

STEP 4: SHARE

Share your next steps with your coworkers, friends, and family and on social media using #mynextstep and tagging @cpqcc.
