CPQCC launched a delivery room oxygen data collection pilot in January 2020 to examine the ideal initial oxygen concentration levels for preterm infants and the effects on long-term neurodevelopmental outcomes. As part of this pilot, data is being collected on two variables: oxygen saturation (SaO2) and fraction of inspired oxygen concentration (FiO2) at 5 minutes of life for inborn infants <1500 grams or <32 weeks.
During the webinar, the presenters will provide a brief update on the science behind five-minute saturations and neurodevelopment and review the data collected as part of the pilot so far.
