CAN Meeting call for Abstracts, please read the letter below from our CAN President.
Dear Colleagues,
I am writing to encourage you to attend this year’s Cool Topics in Neonatology – the annual meeting of the California Association of Neonatologists and District IX AAP Section on Perinatal Pediatrics. The content of the meeting is excellent including an ELBW state of the art, a superior CPQCC/preCAN day and an excellent fellows workshop.
In addition I would encourage you and/or your team to submit abstracts to our expanded poster session and poster symposium which will be held on Friday March 4th preceding our keynote lecture.
We encourage the submission of abstracts of general interest to neonatologists in addition to abstracts reporting team based quality improvement projects. QI projects will be eligible for recognition with the David Wirtschafter Award. Work may have been presented in other academic settings, but should not have been published before the date of presentation.
Who should submit an abstract? - Neonatal fellows, faculty and individuals or teams engaged in improving the quality of newborn care. CAN welcomes fellows and NNPs as affiliate members. Abstracts should be submitted by January 15th to allow faculty review.
Submissions can be completed online at http://www.choc.org/2016CANAbstracts. A link will soon appear on the CAN website.
Please share this email with your team – an excellent session is assured.
Thanks in advance for your support,
John Patrick Cleary MD
CAN President
