N. Uche Uzegbu-McGhee, ASW

Uche Uzegbu- McGhee has worked with children and families most of her life. Her goal in life has always been to serve the community in an effort to make it a better place for all. She holds a Bachelor’s in Public Health and a Master’s in Social Work both from San Jose State University. She is currently a supervisor in a child welfare governmental agency. 

After having her last son at 29 weeks in 2021, it was only natural for her to apply and accept volunteering in her local NICU once she was selected. She now serves her Local Family Advisory Council as a parent member and mentor to parents with children in the NICU.
