Shauna Nuzzo's favorite thing about her job and involvement with HRIF Quality of Care Initiatives is knowing that they are making an impact on patient’s outcomes by gathering data, tracking trends, and making recommendations to improve patient lives. She is motivated and feels privileged to be able to work as a nurse practitioner to impact patient lives daily by listening, continuing to learn every day from her colleagues and being part of collaborative community.
Shauna has worked at Sharp Mary Birch as a PNP and program coordinator in the HRIF follow up clinic for over nine years. Her previous experience was in primary care and the public health setting. She worked as a PNP for Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh on their Ronald McDonald Caremobile, a mobile pediatric unit, that served a diverse and underserved community population in the greater Pittsburgh area and in a private pediatric practice in Pittsburgh performing well child and sick examinations.
